Qingdao Xueda Group, founded in August 1975, mainly produces high and medium grade knitwear. It is “Key Knitwear Production Enterprise” and “High-tech Enterprise” in Qingdao and Shandong, “Shandong Top 100 Private Enterprises”, “China Top 500 Private Enterprises”, “China Top 10 Knitwear Production Enterprises”, ranking first in economic benefits on the top list of national knitwear industry.

The group, with 13 subsidiaries, is Qingdao’s technology center and New Fiber Type Application Experts Working Station. It boasts production lines of weaving, dyeing and finishing, functional processing, embroidery and ready-to-wear clothes with well-equipped advanced facilities, and also involves in auxiliary material production and apparel quality test logistics. Its main products can be categorized into four series, knit vests, children’s wear, leisure sportswear and household wear, with more than 2000 colors and patterns. It produces 50 million knitwear and over 6000 tons of knit cloths, with products mainly exporting to Japan, Denmark, Western Europe and North America.

During the 11th Five-year period, witnessing the rapid development of knitwear industry and challenges brought by appreciation of the RMB, rising price of raw materials, increasing labor costs and global financial crisis, we Xueda people kept transforming ways and adjusting structures to facilitate development, insisting on developing market with technology innovation and enhancing inner tones with management innovation. We continuously increased investment of new innovation, improving equipments and production techniques qualitatively, and has successfully developed in succession acrylics series, milk velvet series, bamboo fiber series, germanium fiber series, multi-component functional mild skin series, Ingeo series as well as mica fiber products, earning favors from consumers at home and abroad. The group has established long-term partnership with many Top 500 Enterprises, shaping a network covering more than 30 provinces and cities as well as dozens of nations and districts including Japan, Southeast Asia, North America and Western Europe.

The group is progressing at high speed, sustaining an annual sales increase of above 30% and development of one new office in each year. Its production, sales revenue, self-running foreign exchange through export, revenue tax and employees’ annual incomes have increased by 2.5 times, 3 times, 5.2 times, 5.6 times, and 2.1 times respectively during the 11th Five-year period. In 2010, the enterprise achieved sales revenue of RMB1 billion with revenue tax of RMB 130million, increased by 50.4% and 62.5% compared to that of 2009. In the 12th Five-year period, Xueda Group will center on the functional knitting vest industrial park project that covers an area of 1100 mu and is expected to reach 200 million pieces production, further develop supporting facilities to optimize product R&D and strike full-established industrial chains of weaving, dyeing and finishing, ready-to-wear and accessories production so as to build itself into a global well-known knitwear production base.
