April: Qingdao Xueda Holding Co., Ltd. was established. January: The Xueda Group Technology Center was recognized and designated by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Taxation Administration as a 2018 (25th batch) National Enterprise Technology Center.

2015

October: Xueda (Cambodia) Dongsheng Textile and Apparel Co., Ltd. was established.

2013

In September, Workshop No. 1 of the second phase of the Xueda Modern Industrial Base was completed and put into operation, and Qingdao Yuqi Textile Development & Apparel Co., Ltd. was established.

2012

In May, the Ronghai Garment Factory No. 1 of Xueda Group was officially commissioned, marking the complete completion and full-scale operation of Phase I of Xueda’s modern industrial base.

2010

December 24: Mr. Shigeto Nonaka, President of Shimamura Co., Ltd. of Japan, visited the Group for an inspection. December 3: The establishment of the CPC Qingdao XueDa Group Co., Ltd. Committee and the inaugural Party Members’ Congress were held.

2007

June: Obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification

In December, the company was recognized as a “National Quality-Exempt Unit.” In November, the newly developed Ingeo multi-fiber product was designated as a “National Key New Product.”

2003

In October, it was reviewed and recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as a “National Model Township Enterprise for Integrity and Lawfulness.”

2001

In October, a newly developed modified acrylic knitted underwear product was evaluated by experts organized by the Municipal Economic Commission, which determined that it filled a domestic gap.

2000

December: The Xueda Group Technology Center is established. October: Construction officially begins on the Nanquan Eastern Xueda Industrial Park, a key investment project.

1998

In March, the enterprise was restructured and established as Qingdao XueDa Group Co., Ltd.

1997

October 31: The company successfully obtained ISO 9002 international quality system certification in a single audit.

1993

In September, the Sino-foreign joint venture Qingdao Huaquan Garment Co., Ltd. was established.

Fiscal Year 1988

The enterprise was named one of the “Top Ten Township Enterprises” for 1988 by the Qingdao Municipal “Top Ten Enterprises” Selection Committee. “Yuxia”-branded polyester-cotton blended double-faced fabric for sportswear won the Ministry of Agriculture’s Quality Product Award.

Fiscal Year 1986

The enterprise was recognized as an Advanced Township Enterprise by the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. Cooperated with the State Sports Commission to produce “Top Ten” sportswear.

1984

In March, the enterprise was renamed Qingdao No. 9 Knitting Factory.

1982

The company is the first designated manufacturer of blue-and-white-striped naval shirts in Shandong Province.

1975

In August, the Nanquan Commune Ceramic Factory in Jimo County (also known as the Nanquan Commune Lime Factory) was established, marking the origin of the Xueda Group.

On October 17, the 50th-anniversary celebration of Xueda Group’s founding was solemnly held at the Xueda Industrial Park. Xueda Group signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with Fujian Septwolves Textile & Apparel Co., Ltd. and Itochu Fibre Trading (China) Co., Ltd. Xueda Group also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Toyo Spinning (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd.

2024

December 4: Qingdao Xueda Holding Co., Ltd. was recognized as a high-tech enterprise. July 31: Xueda Group obtained AEO Advanced Customs Compliance Certification. July 27: Xueda Group celebrated the 22nd anniversary of its cooperation with Toray of Japan.

October 7: 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of Qingdao Yuqi Textile Development Co., Ltd. July 1: The CPC Committee of Qingdao XueDa Group Co., Ltd. convened the Third Congress of Party Members (Election of a New Party Committee). June: The company obtained organic cotton certification.

June 6: The National Enterprise Technology Center Building of Xueda Group is completed and put into use. May 22: Xueda Group’s Boran Yucái Japanese Language Training Course Commences.

November 28: Passed the on-site evaluation for the Jimo District “District Chief Quality Award.” June 22: Xueda employee Wang Xianqi was awarded the 15th “National Technical Expert” title. March 9: The first phase of the Xueda Group’s D2M Platform project—a smart factory—was launched.

2020

July 27: Xueda Group Signs Industry–University–Research Cooperation Agreement with the Qingdao Research Institute of Sichuan University February: The civilian protective masks developed and manufactured by Xueda Group pass national standard testing, meeting the civilian N95 standard. January: Major breakthroughs are achieved in the R&D of Xueda’s protective clothing, leading to its inclusion on the list of military supply enterprises.

2019

November 7: Approved and announced by the Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Xueda Group was designated as a provincial postdoctoral innovation and practice base. August: Xueda Group obtained certification under the Integration of Informatization and Industrialization Management System, and Qingdao Hongpu Protective Technology Co., Ltd. was established. July 27: Xueda Group signed cooperation agreements with the Qingdao Research Institute of Sichuan University and Qingdao Guohong Litai Investment Management Co., Ltd. to establish a Biomedical Textile Materials Development and Health Evaluation Center at Xueda’s National-Level Technology Center. April: Qingdao Xueda Holding Co., Ltd. was founded, and Xueda Group was recognized and announced by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission as the Shandong Provincial Engineering Research Center for the Application of Multi-Component Functional Fibers. December 22: Obtained certification under the Intellectual Property Management System May: Yin Qiang, Vice President of the Textile Industry Association, visited the Group to conduct an inspection and research on information technology development and the integration of informatization and industrialization. The Qingdao Private Enterprise Association held a special symposium on expanding private enterprises’ access to international markets at Xueda Group. April: Awarded the title of Outstanding Science and Technology R&D Enterprise in China’s Knitting Industry. A joint new-product launch event featuring Xueda Group, Jilin Chemical Fiber, and Japan’s Kin-ken was successfully held in Qingdao.

2016

In December, the Group was jointly recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China National Textile and Apparel Council as a key brand-name enterprise in the apparel and home textile sectors for prioritized monitoring and cultivation in 2016. In July, a Pakistani delegation visiting China paid a visit to Xueda Group. On March 16, Xueda (Cambodia) Dongsheng Textile and Garment Co., Ltd. was fully completed and commenced production.

2015

December: Awarded the China Knitting Industry Science and Technology Contribution Award (2011–2015); the Qingdao Graphene Fiber Application Expert Workstation was officially established at Xueda Group. November: Wang Xianqi of Xueda Group was honored as a “National Textile Industry Technical Expert”; Wu Xiujuan and four other colleagues swept the second through sixth places in the third Jimo City Vocational Skills Competition. October 19: Xueda (Cambodia) Dongsheng Textile and Apparel Co., Ltd. was established. June: Designated by the Organization Department of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee as one of the Top Ten Model Sites for Non-Public Sector Party Building; the Xueda Group Cadre Training Program of the School of Business at Qingdao University officially commenced.

On July 29, Qingdao Zhichuang Shengshi Apparel Co., Ltd. was established, focusing on proprietary brands and online sales.

December: The Xueda trademark was recognized by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as a Well-Known Trademark in China. November: Awarded the Innovation Contribution Award for Knitted Underwear by the China National Textile and Apparel Council; the Xueda Technology Center was designated as a Shandong Provincial-Level Technology Center. On December 28, the first annual meeting of the Qingdao City Expert Workstation for Research and Development of New Fiber Applications was held. On December 24, Mr. Shigeto Nonaka, President of Shimamura Co., Ltd. of Japan, visited the group for an inspection. On December 3, the establishment of the CPC Qingdao XueDa Group Co., Ltd. Committee and the inaugural Party Members’ Congress were held. In October, Vice Mayor Hu Shaojun of Qingdao City and Secretary Zheng Minghui of the Jimo Municipal Party Committee visited XueDa Group for research and guidance. In August, groundbreaking took place for Qingdao Xuexing International Logistics Co., Ltd., a garment inspection and logistics enterprise built with investment as part of the supporting facilities. In April, Qingdao Qirong Garment Co., Ltd. was established.

2009

In the year, it was recognized by the Shandong Provincial Committee for Spiritual Civilization as a provincial-level civilized unit. In August, it was designated as the Qingdao Municipal Expert Workstation for Research and Development of New Fiber Applications.

2008

In December, customers from Shimamura Co., Ltd. of Japan visited the Group for a factory audit and were jointly awarded the National Outstanding Township Enterprise Award for Pioneering and Innovation—commemorating the 30th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up—by five government departments, including the Township and Village Enterprises Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture. On August 16, Qingdao Xueda Huihong Garment Co., Ltd. was established. In May, Qingdao Hongpu Textile & Apparel Co., Ltd. was founded. On January 16, the 2008 New Year Gathering for Chinese and Foreign Friends was held at the Qingdao Seaview Garden Hotel.

2007

December: Milk-protein fiber eco-friendly new products and bamboo-charcoal fiber ecological knitted fabrics were recognized as Qingdao City High-Tech Products; Xueda Group was certified as a High-Tech Enterprise. November 10: Mr. Takafumi Omura, President of Nishimatsuya Co., Ltd. of Japan, visited the Group and presented a letter of appreciation. October: Awarded the Private Sector Science and Technology Development Contribution Award. July: Ranked among the Top 100 Science-and-Technology-Oriented Private Enterprises in Qingdao for 2006. June: Obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification. April: Certified as a Clean Production Enterprise by Qingdao City. March: Qingdao Quanhong Garment Co., Ltd. was established. January 25: Qingdao Xueda Shijia Textile Development Co., Ltd. was established. January 15: The first Xueda Group Gathering for Chinese and Foreign Friends was held in Qingdao.

In December, the company was recognized as a “National Exemption from Product Quality Inspection” unit and was named one of “Shandong’s Top Ten Competitive Brands” by media outlets including the Shandong Wealth Forum, Dazhong Daily, and United Daily. In November, the newly developed Ingeo multi-fiber product was designated as a “National Key New Product.” In September, employee Wang Haiqing placed 13th in the “Head of State Cup” National Knitting Industry Garment-Making Skills Competition and National Qualifying Round, and subsequently represented Shandong Province in the National Garment-Making Skills Competition. In May, the company was named a “2006 Entrepreneurial Star” by the Development Research Center of the State Council. In March, Xueda Group was awarded AAA+ level quality and credit certification.

2005

December: The modified acrylic knitted underwear project was awarded the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress among Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Shandong Province. October: The modified acrylic knitted underwear was selected by the Qingdao Science Spark Award Review Committee for the Second Prize of the Spark Program. August: The modified acrylic knitted underwear was recognized as a National Key New Product for 2002. June: Received the Certificate of Adoption of International Standards for Industrial Enterprises from the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision (Standard Adoption Certificate No. 021-6357-2001). May: The newly installed printing workshop, comprising 18 printing production lines and associated auxiliary facilities, was put into operation. April: A new woven garment production line was commissioned at Qingdao Huaji Garment Co., Ltd.; the modified acrylic knitted underwear was awarded the High-Tech Product Certification by the Qingdao Municipal Science and Technology Bureau.

In the year, the company was recognized by the Qingdao Municipal People’s Government as an Advanced Private Enterprise for 2001 and obtained the “Adoption of International Standards in Production” certificate issued by the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. In October, a newly developed modified acrylic knitted underwear product, researched and developed by the company, passed expert appraisal organized by the Qingdao Municipal Economic Commission, filling a domestic gap. In July, the first phase of Qingdao Yiquan Knitting Garment Co., Ltd. was completed and put into operation. In March, the Group Company successfully passed the recertification audit under the ISO 9000 international quality management system, and the enterprise was named one of the Top 100 Private Enterprises in Qingdao by the Qingdao Municipal People’s Government.

2000

December: Qingdao Yiquan Knitting Apparel Co., Ltd. was established; the Xueda Group Technology Center was founded. October: Construction commenced on the South Spring Eastern Xueda Industrial Park, a key investment project; Qingdao Weierfu Apparel Co., Ltd. was established. September: Recognized by the Qingdao Municipal Personnel Bureau and the Qingdao Municipal Technical Supervision Bureau as an advanced unit in metrology work in Qingdao. March: Qingdao Huaji Apparel Co., Ltd. was established.

Yearly Established a business cooperation relationship with Qingdao Datong Co., Ltd., a Taiwan-invested enterprise. Was recognized by the Jimo Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government as an Advanced Enterprise for Lawful Tax Payment in 1998. Was recognized by the Jimo Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government as a Second-Level Strong Enterprise in 1998. In April, with approval from the State Foreign Economic and Trade Commission, the company was granted self-operated import and export rights and began a large-scale entry into the international knitted apparel market.

1997

Annual The enterprise was recognized by the Jimo City Labor Competition Committee as an outstanding unit for labor competition performance in 1997. It was designated by the Qingdao Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce as a key protected entity for anti-counterfeiting and rights protection among well-known enterprises in Qingdao. It was awarded the title of Advanced Unit for Equipment Management in 1997 by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Township and Village Enterprises. On October 31, the enterprise successfully obtained ISO 9002 international quality system certification in a single audit.

1996

In July, the enterprise’s Party branch was recognized by the Jimo Municipal Party Committee as an Advanced Party Branch for 1996. In July, the enterprise was rated as a National Medium-Sized Enterprise of Grade II by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People’s Republic of China.

In December, “Xiaobo”-branded plush children’s clothing was awarded the title of High-Quality Product by the Ministry of Agriculture; the enterprise also received the Equipment Management Award from the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Township and Village Enterprises. In November, the weaving workshop’s QC team was honored as an Outstanding QC Team within the Qingdao Municipal Township and Village Enterprise System. In May, the enterprise was named a “Three-Time Consecutive Champion among Qingdao’s Best Enterprises for 1987–1989” by the Qingdao Municipal Selection Committee for the Top Ten Enterprises in Two Categories. In January, the achievement titled “Applying Policy-and-Objective Management to Strengthen Enterprise Upgrading” was awarded the Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Modernizing Enterprise Management within the Qingdao Municipal Township and Village Enterprise System by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Township and Village Enterprises.

The enterprise received the 1989 Qingdao Township and Village Enterprises Quality Management Award. The enterprise was recognized as a Model Enterprise for Dual Civilization in Qingdao’s Township and Village Enterprises for 1989. Its wedding suits were named “Qingfang Flower” products for 1989 by the Qingdao Textile Corporation. In April, the enterprise was designated as a Provincial-Level Energy-Saving Enterprise by the Shandong Provincial Economic Commission. In March, the enterprise was awarded the title of “Civilized Unit” by the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and the Qingdao Municipal People’s Government. In January, the enterprise was granted the title of “Municipal-Level Township and Village Enterprise” by the Qingdao Municipal Enterprise Management Leading Group. October: The enterprise was rated as a First-Class Energy-Saving Enterprise in Qingdao. September: The enterprise was rated as a Standardization Level-4 Unit by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Standards and Metrology. August: The Shandong Provincial Department of Textile Industry issued the enterprise with the “Shandong Province Export Textile Production License,” No. SHANDONG QF022. March: The enterprise was awarded the title of “Civilized Unit of Qingdao for 1987” by the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. Yearly The tussah silk-cotton blended yarn looped garment produced by the company won the Science and Technology Achievement Award from the Shandong Provincial Silk Import-Export Corporation. The “Yu Xia” sportswear manufactured by the company was rated as a provincial-quality product. December The company was awarded the title of “Best Township Enterprise in Qingdao for 1987” by the Qingdao Municipal Administration of Enterprises. The “Yu Xia” brand polyester-cotton blended sportswear was certified as a provincial-quality product by the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Standards and Metrology. July: The company was rated as a Level-3 metrology unit by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Standards and Metrology.

In that year, the enterprise was recognized by the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government as an Advanced Township Enterprise; it also collaborated with the State Sports Commission to produce “Top Ten” sportswear.

In July, the company transferred the printing plant to the Nanquan Town Education Committee and focused on deepening its expertise in the knitting industry.

In March, the enterprise was renamed Qingdao No. 9 Knitting Factory.

1982

The company is the first designated manufacturer in Shandong Province of blue-and-white-striped naval shirts and colored-striped shirts.

In March, the enterprise was renamed Qingdao Nanquan Knitting Factory, and the printing plant was simultaneously renamed Qingdao Nanquan Printing Factory.

In August, the enterprise was renamed “Jimo County Knitting Factory,” and the lime factory was abolished.

1976

In July, the enterprise was merged into the Nanquan Commune Knitting Factory (coexisting with the Lime Factory) and renamed the Jimo County Nanquan Commune Knitting Factory. In May, the Jimo County Nanquan Commune Printing Factory was established.

1975

In August, the Nanquan Commune Ceramic Factory in Jimo County (also known as the Nanquan Commune Lime Factory) was established, marking the origin of the Xueda Group.
