Xueda Group Grandly Holds 50th Anniversary Celebration and New Product Launch Event

In the golden autumn of October, the air is filled with the fragrance of ripe fruits, and half a century of vibrant growth has woven a glorious legacy. On October 17, 2025, the Group solemnly held its 50th Anniversary Celebration and New Product Launch Event at the Xueda Industrial Park. The event was attended by leaders from the Consulate-General of Japan in Qingdao, the China Knitting Industry Association, the China National Garment Association, and the Qingdao Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as numerous domestic and international partners, guests, and representatives of the Group’s employees and management.

The celebratory gala screened the “Fifty-Year Promotional Film on Xueda’s Entrepreneurial Journey,” which vividly chronicled Xueda’s unwavering commitment and groundbreaking achievements in the textile and apparel industry over the past five decades—showcasing how a single strand of yarn has woven a transnational industrial empire. From Factory Director Zhang Shian leading Xueda’s team in producing the very first knitted garment, to today’s strategic partnerships with numerous global industry giants, every frame serves as a compelling testament to “Made in China” innovation.

Amid the deafening roar of fireworks and firecrackers and the rousing chorus of “The Song of Xueda” sung in unison by the enthusiastic Xueda team, the “Gratitude for Fifty Years, Steadfast Dedication for Fifty Years, United in Creating the Future” 50th Anniversary Celebration and New Product Launch Event of Xueda Group officially commenced.

At the meeting, Zhang Hao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, delivered a speech in which he paid profound respects to the pioneering entrepreneurs of earlier generations and expressed heartfelt gratitude to government leaders at all levels, domestic and international partners, and friends from all sectors who have shown concern for and supported Xueda. While reflecting on the past and expressing gratitude, he also outlined the strategic direction for the next fifty years and reaffirmed Xueda Group’s mission to “provide Chinese solutions for the global textile industry.”

Consul General Kenji Saito of the Consulate-General of Japan in Qingdao, Takashi Nakahira, Senior Managing Director of Shimamura Co., Ltd., Kazuo Ishii, Executive Vice President of Toray Industries, Inc., Takeshi Mizouchi, Chairman of Itochu Fibers Trading (China) Co., Ltd., and Tomohiko Kataoka, President of Toray International Co., Ltd., delivered remarks on site. In addition, Xueda Group received a congratulatory letter from Mitsuo Oya, President of Toray Industries, Inc., which not only celebrated the 50th anniversary of Xueda Group’s founding but also pledged to further deepen cooperation, strengthen China–Japan industrial collaborative innovation, jointly expand into the global market, and serve as a bridge for enhancing mutual trust and mutual benefit between the peoples of China and Japan through grassroots exchanges. Through the theme “Cherry Blossom Craftsmanship” in dialogue with “Qilu Wisdom,” they outlined a blueprint for the next fifty years of collaboration with Xueda Group.

Cui Zuo, Vice Chairman of the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, delivered a speech in which he fully commended Xueda Group for its five decades of hard work and achievements, as well as its positive contributions to economic and social development, and expressed high expectations and made specific requirements for Xueda Group as it embarks on a new stage of development.

Under the joint witness of all guests and employee representatives of XueDa Group, the celebration conference held two milestone cooperation signing ceremonies: one was between Qingdao XueDa Group Co., Ltd. and Itochu Fiber Trading (China) Co., Ltd. Qingdao Branch and Fujian Septwolves Textile & Apparel Co., Ltd. Signs Tripartite Cooperation Agreement to Build “Production + Distribution” +Brand ” a complementary alliance; second, Qingdao XueDa Group Co., Ltd. and Toyobo (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement, under which the two parties will join forces to write a new chapter of win-win cooperation in the research and development and application of functional fibers. These two cooperation agreements officially ushered in a new journey of development for XueDa Group’s second fifty years!

Zhang Hao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, presented certificates of honor and trophies to employee representatives who were awarded the “Meritorious Figure Award” and the “Peer-Group Representative Award.” Meanwhile, Zhang Shian, the Group’s founder and its guiding force for the past fifty years, presented certificates of honor and trophies to representatives of the “Xueda Family” who have worked at Xueda Group across multiple generations and were honored with the “Loyalty and Dedication Award,” recognizing their outstanding contributions. These individuals epitomize the relentless efforts of Xueda’s broad workforce, the quiet yet steadfast support of thousands of Xueda families, and the continuous stream of contributions passed down from one generation of Xueda employees to the next.

Zhang Hongbin, Director of the Group’s Technical Quality Headquarters, outlined Xueda’s future development plan and new-product R&D priorities. Transitioning from traditional manufacturing to intelligent and automated operations, while pursuing a strategy of functional differentiation, Xueda has consistently regarded technological innovation as the inexhaustible source of its survival and growth.
